The original name of Abul Kalam Azad's is Abul Kalam Mohanuddin Ahmed.The title of 'Valshpati', was given to him. Later, they started to name Azad. Azad was born on 11 November 1888 in Mecca. His father was an Indian, while his mother was an Arab.

Azad had the pleasure of writing, writing, from his childhood. They acquired knowledge of Persian, Urdu and Arabic languages. He also studied logic, Islam, religion, philosophy and mathematics. Azad started Urdu weekly 'Al Hilal' in Kolkata for public awareness; But the British government banned it. Then he started the second weekly Al Balag. Maulana Azad awakened the people against the British rule through his writings. In the minds of the people, they are conscious about fighting against injustice. In particular, Muslims say that they should fight against the British as well as the Hindu society. He preserved the principles of his religion. However, it is learned that Maulana Azad was told by Gandhiji that religion should be the religion of humanity and should behave like a humanitarian religion. They became Gandhiji's follower. Later, he became the Chief Leader of the Congress. He became the Congress president at the age of thirty-five years. In his presidential speech, he emphasized on Hindu-Muslim unity. On August 8, 1942, the British Government was warned of 'Quit India'. When major Congress leaders were arrested. Of course, Maulana Azad was also arrested. After India's independence, he took over as the education minister in the Union Cabinet. Their educational policy was secular. Modern science and modern thinking were the only ones in their education policy. Maulana Azad was an effective speaker, as well as a great writer. The translation of the Quran translated by Tarjuman Koran is popular. His autobiography 'India Vince Freedom' was released after his death. Maulana Azad died on 23 February 1958
